Cashing In! Beyonce Slams ‘Feyonce’ With Lawsuit For Stealing Song and Trademark Name

Today, the Queen Bey proved one more time that she never allows people to take advantage of her hard-earned name.
Daily Mail reports that the famous singer has today slammed luxury wears/items makers Feyonce Inc for exploiting her name through sale of hoodies, shirts, tank tops, and even coffee mugs bearing the name ‘Feyonce’ which is very similar to her trademarked name, hence deceiving buyers and causing her irreparable damage.

According to the lawsuit, she had called the attention of the company and warned them to desist, but they ignored her request and even have a coffee mug which bears the line from her smash hit song ‘Single Ladies’ – the $14.95 mug reads ‘he put a ring on it’.
Also, the company had gone ahead to apply for the trademark of that name ‘Feyonce’ with or without the ‘e’
“Defendants adopted the Feyonce mark to call to mind Beyonce and her famous song,” the lawsuit says. “Defendants’ conduct described herein is intentional, fraudulent, malicious, willful and wanton,” Beyonce’s lawsuit states, and then seeks unspecified damage.
